Library Day 2025

Dear AIT Community and Friends,

The AIT Library, in collaboration with the Library Committee and the Student Union, is delighted to invite you to Library Day 2025: Empowering Research & Innovation, which will be held on Monday, 1 September 2025, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the AIT Library.

This inaugural event will feature a full day of engaging activities, both on stage and across various interactive zones, where you can take part in programs that combine academic enrichment with fun and creativity.

Join us at the Opening Ceremony (9:00 – 10:00 am), followed by keynote talks, research presentations, exhibitions, and exciting activities throughout the day.

Stage Highlights

• 10:00 – 11:00 | Talk: “Digital Tools & AI for Smarter Research” – Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaklam Silpasuwanchai and Mr. Todsavad Tangtortan
• 11:00 – 12:00 | Research Project Presentation: “AI Applications in Agriculture” – Mr. Pavit Tangwongkit
• 13:00 – 13:45 | Talk: “Knowledge Transfer in Action: Books that Move Ideas into Practice” – Asst. Prof. Dr. Tobias Endress
• 13:45 – 14:15 | Research Project Presentation: “Enhancing Productivity and Ensuring Sustainability: Ongoing Initiatives in Digital Agriculture” – Asst. Prof. Dr. Sushil Kumar Himanshu

• Zone 4 – Book Fair
  Browse books from nine participating bookshops offering special discounts, plus gift shops with unique items. 
• Zone 5 – Library Services Booth
  Learn how the Library can support you during your research journey.
• Zone 6 – Creative Workshop
  Join the free Eco Keychain Workshop and design your own keychain with your unique style. 

• Zone 7 – Edutainment Zone
  • Chess, Checkers, and Board Game Competitions – challenge the Library Team and win prizes! 
  • “24 Hours, Infinite Choices: Build Your AIT Day” – interactive activity by the Student Union Team with prizes for winners.

Food Truck: Enjoy tasty food and refreshing drinks from eight food trucks right in front of the Library all day!

Don’t forget to register at the Library entrance and pick up your Activity Passport. Join the activities, collect stamps, and enjoy a free workshop or receive a souvenir.
