Knovel is a single source for full-text engineering content (eTextbooks, Technical References, Conference Proceedings, Engineering Use Case, Handbooks, etc.), extracted technical data and analytics support from more than 160+ Publishers & Societies covering over 11,000+ contents. Knovel provides access to general reference content, trusted literature, industry best practices, material property data, mathematical equations, chemical formulas, and more. 

The following is some of the top areas where Knovel can support and make an impact in your research project:

  •  Gaining background information on an engineering topic

To help you more understand Knovel and how to use it to improve your research and education outcomes, the Library would like to invite you to participate in Knovel training on 30 March 2022 from 2 -3 PM Bangkok Time.

In this session you will learn about:

  • Quick overview of Knovel 
  • Who & Why uses Knovel
  • How can Knovel help you in your engineering research project
  • How to leverage the interactive tools to speed up your project work
  • Hands-on experience during the session (including setting up remote access & mobile access)

Speaker: Lionel NewRegional Lead for Engineering Solutions, Elsevier Engineering Solutions

Lionel is the Regional Lead for Engineering Solutions, Asia-Pacific region with Elsevier and specializing in the Engineering Solutions portfolio. Prior to his current role, he was in-charge of the Elsevier Young Scientist Award, Publishing & Ethic Workshop, Library Connect Event, with a strong focus on Elsevier Science & Technology solutions. In his role, Lionel engages with Elsevier’s clients in academic and enterprises and assists engineering researchers and professionals to be more successful in their work by leveraging Elsevier’s innovative solutions. He is currently appointed as an advisory member of the Global Elsevier Training Program and Library Connect Board Committee.
