Room Booking Policy

Group Study Room Booking Policy (Free of Charge) 

The AIT Library currently provides 16 Group Study Rooms for student and faculty use.

  • 13 Small Group Study Rooms (accommodate 4–7 users; Room No. 1–10, 13–15)
  • 3 Large Group Study Rooms (accommodate 8–10 users; Room No. 11–12, 16)

 1. Booking Schedule

Room booking is permitted on a day-by-day basis only (no advance multi-day reservations).

2. Booking Limit

One AIT ID is allowed to reserve one room for one time slot per day.

3. Late Check-in

If the requester does not check in within 15 minutes of the reserved time, the reservation will be automatically canceled, and the room may be released to others.

            All IDs used for booking must belong to current AIT students, faculty, and staff

5. Time Slots: Each booking period is 2 hours.

6. Booking Channels

  1. At Library Counters:
    1. 08:00 – 16:30 at the Reference Desk
    1. 16:30 – 22:00 at the Circulation Desk
  2. Online Booking: https://apps2.ait.ac.th/librarybooking/

7. Usage Guidelines – Activities Not Permitted

  1. Group Study Rooms are reserved for academic use by current AIT members only.
  2. Bookings for training sessions, workshops, or other long-duration non-academic activities are not permitted.
  3. Rooms must remain occupied during the reserved time. If a room is left unattended (e.g., users leave for lunch or other activities), the reservation may be canceled and reassigned to others.
  4. Personal belongings should not be left unattended. The library is not responsible for any loss or damage. Unattended items may be removed, recorded, and stored at the Circulation Desk for security and space management purposes.

VDO-Teleconference Room Booking Policy

The VDO-Teleconference Room can accommodate up to 30 participants around the round table, with an additional 10 chairs available along the wall. The room is equipped with a projector screen and audio control system, supporting both physical and online meetings.

Booking Process:

  1. Send a request to: library@ait.ac.th
  2. The library will check room availability and respond to your request.
  3. If available, you will be asked to complete the Room Booking Form to confirm your reservation.
  4. Once the form is submitted, the library will finalize and confirm the booking.

Training Room Booking Policy

The Training Room can accommodate up to 50 users and is equipped with 50 lecture chairs, an interactive e-board, microphones, and speakers, making it suitable for classes, presentations, and training sessions.

Booking Process:

  1. Send a request to: library@ait.ac.th
  2. The Library will check room availability and respond to your request.
  3. If available, you will be asked to complete the Room Booking Form to confirm your reservation.
  4. Once the form is submitted, the library will finalize and confirm the booking.             

Room and Staff Charges:

Online Studio Room

The Online Studio Room can accommodate up to 25 people and is equipped with an interactive e-board and audio control system, suitable for online courses and video conferences.

Booking Process:

  1. Send a request to: library@ait.ac.th
  2. The library will check room availability and respond to your request.
  3. If available, you will be asked to complete the Room Booking Form to confirm your reservation.
  4. Once the form is submitted, the library will finalize and confirm the booking.
